A home inspection is a professional, objective, visual examination of the condition of a property, at the time of the inspection. The home inspection should not be confused with an environmental audit, a municipal code inspection, a home owner’s warranty or an appraisal. Our goal at Clements Inspections is to provide the Client(s) a better understanding of the physical condition of the property so they can make a better well-informed decision.

Your complete home inspection should cover all of the major systems of a house, including structure; interior & exterior, grading & drainage, roofing, insulation, doors, windows, fireplace & chimney, porches, decks, attached carports, electrical, heating, cooling, plumbing, water heaters, hydro-therapy equipment, range hood, range & ovens, microwave equipment, trash compactors, bathroom exhaust fans and heaters, whole house vacuums, garage door operators, door bells, dryer vents and more. Upon request there are optional systems such as: lawn sprinklers, swimming pools & equipment, outbuildings and so on. The inspection does not include cosmetic conditions.

A Wood Destroying Insect (WDI) inspection, commonly known as a termite inspection, is not part of the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) inspection report. Upon request, we at Clements Inspections, will do a WDI inspection at the same time as the home inspection and by the same inspector. This is very convenient for the Client(s), one appointment does it all. Many of the inspection companies have to rely on out sourcing this inspection to some other company. Clements Inspections has a Texas Structural Pest Control License. It takes many hours of training and inspections, above and beyond the TREC license requirements, to get this license. We at Clements Inspections feel this knowledge and experience is vital to a complete and thorough inspection.
